HIKE CARDIO: EASY

The day after you hammer your legs in the gym is the MOST IMPORTANT cardio day in the week!!!  Your muscles are tired, torn and stiff.  Hike Cardio: Easy is the no-backpack, low intensity “stroll” up the mountain that is designed to get blood flow into the sore muscles and loosen them up.  (HIKE CARDIO: HARD is for tomorrow).

This is not a day to push or kill yourself.  It’s a brisk hike, with long strides and controlled steps.  Stretching before and after your workout will enhance recover time and reduce stiffness.  Drink a ton of water and NEVER skip this day, or else…  Feed your SALOMON SPEEDCROSS— they deserve it.
